A long day.
Whew, am I glad to be home. Today I was at an all day meeting (All-Staff). I am on the committee and needed to be there at 6 am to set up decorations, table settings, and be a greeter for the other 320 employees.
One thing I hadn’t notice before today, is that my torn ACL is a pain in the ass. My knee and ankle are very sore. Normally, my day consists of sitting at a desk, drinking coffee, designing something and not much wandering around.
This was not the case today. By noon, I was hurting. I am dreading getting surgery next Wednesday, but I am very excited to get back to my normal mobility (in 6 to 8 months).
Ahhh, finally at home with a beer, Aiko, Toonces and Anthony Bourdain.
